Student Friend

Our place is out in Vill- Chuanpur, specifically in the Kadamtala area near the Berhampore post office. We call ourselves Student Friend because most of the people who come through our door are local students looking for a bit of help. It is not a big academic institution or anything like that. It is just a small room with some computers and a printer. We help with school projects, print out forms, and sometimes just give advice on where to find things. Chuanpur is a quiet village, so we do not have to deal with city traffic. The building is modest and blends in with the rest of the houses in Kadamtala. Sometimes the internet connection acts up, and we have to wait for it to come back, which is just how things go here. We have a lot of paper and stationery stacked up, and it can get a bit crowded when the exams are near. We do not spend money on big ads or marketing. Everyone knows us because their friends or siblings came here before. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. We do not have uniforms or strict rules. We just try to be useful to the kids and young adults in Berhampore. It is a nice way to spend the day, and we like being part of the community in Chuanpur.
