We have been based at 82 K. P. Chattaraj Road for quite some time now. Gora Bazar is a pretty busy place, especially around this part of Murshidabad. Our office is just a normal room where we sit and handle our daily business. It’s definitely not a fancy place with modern furniture or anything. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but we are used to it after all these years. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so we know our neighbors quite well. People often stop by just to say hello or to ask a quick question about something. We try to keep our files in order, but it’s just us doing the work. The weather here in Murshidabad can get really hot in the summer months, which sometimes makes the afternoons feel long. We just keep the fans going and stay on top of our tasks. It is a very basic operation. There isn't anything high-tech or complicated about how we do things. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. Being in Gora Bazar feels right because it’s a community we understand. Our desks are a bit old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We just keep things moving forward one day at a time without any fuss.
