We’ve been running this shop for a while, and the shelves are usually pretty packed with all sorts of things. It’s a bit crowded inside sometimes because we try to keep enough stock for everyone’s projects. Whether someone is fixing a leaky pipe or building something new, they usually stop by here first. It gets busy in the mornings when the local builders and farmers come in. We spend a lot of time helping people find that one specific screw or tool they need but can't remember the name of. We aren't experts in everything, but we've seen enough to give a bit of practical advice now and then. The shop floor is a little worn out from all the boots coming through, but that’s fine. It means we’re staying busy. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck, which can be a bit of a headache for everyone. But we do our best to keep things moving. It’s a simple hardware store, nothing more and nothing less. We live nearby, so this isn't just a job for us, it's our daily life. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. We’re just happy to be the place people go when they need to fix something at home.
