Zenobia Coaching Class

We’ve been running Zenobia Coaching Class in the Byculla area for a long time now. It’s a part of Mumbai that has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of the community here. The pincode is 400027, and most of our students live just a short walk away from the classroom, which makes it easier for them to attend regularly. We don’t have a fancy office or a reception area with a dedicated secretary to greet people. It’s mostly just us and the students in a simple room with enough chairs and tables for everyone to work. We started this because we saw that kids in Byculla needed a place where they could go to get extra help with their school subjects. Some days it gets quite hot, and we just open the windows and keep the fans going while we work through math problems or science chapters. We don’t follow a strict corporate schedule; if a student needs an extra twenty minutes to understand something, we just stay back and finish it. It’s a very local feel here. You’ll often see us talking to the neighbors or the shopkeepers nearby when we step out for a tea break. We don’t do a lot of advertising because everyone in the area knows who we are and what we do. Our focus is just on the books and making sure the kids feel confident when they walk into their exams. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us and the families who send their children here. We just take it one day at a time, helping out wherever we can in Byculla.
