J. M. C. Exports

If you know Zaveri Bazar, you know how loud and packed it is every single day. We are up on the second floor of J. M. C. House. It’s a bit of a climb when the elevator is acting up, but we like being right in the middle of all the action. J. M. C. Exports has been in this spot for quite some time now. The streets downstairs are always full of people, carts, and delivery guys, so getting things in and out takes some real patience. We aren't some big corporate office with glass walls or shiny floors. Our space is lived-in and mostly filled with stacks of papers and old files. You can hear the market noise through the windows all day, which is just part of being here in the bazaar. We spend our days coordinating exports and talking to people on the phone. It’s a busy environment and we’re usually juggling three different things at once. We know all the neighbors and the tea guy downstairs knows exactly how we like our chai. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s where we belong. We try to keep things organized, even when the market gets crazy during the heavy festival seasons. It’s a lot of manual work and checking details, but we’re used to the pace of this area. It feels like real life here, not some sterile office park. We just show up and get through the day’s tasks without complaining too much.
