Yusuf Class Centre

If you find yourself on Chembur Hains Road 1, you might see our small sign for Yusuf Class Centre. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while now. It’s a modest setup where we focus on helping people with their education. We aren't a big institution with hundreds of employees. It’s mostly just a few of us who care about teaching. The rooms are basic and we don't have many decorations on the walls. We think the focus should be on the books and the lessons anyway. Students come to us from all over Chembur. Some are preparing for exams and others just want to catch up on things they missed in school. We see a lot of different faces every day. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when the classes are full, but we manage. The street outside can be noisy with traffic, but once the door is closed, we get to work. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks to get people to join. Usually, a parent hears from another parent that we are doing okay work, and they bring their child in. We just take things one day at a time and try to explain the material as clearly as we can. It’s a humble place, and we are fine with that. As long as the students are learning something new, we feel like we’ve done our part and made a difference to their week.
