Our little office is B 5 inside the Yashodhan Society. If you know the Dahisar area, you probably know the Barton Court building or at least the River View marriage and party hall. That hall is the main landmark we tell everyone because otherwise, people get lost looking for us. It’s a decent enough spot to spend the day. The office isn’t huge, but it fits what we need for the online work we do. There’s always some noise coming from the street, maybe a wedding party starting up or just the usual traffic. We’ve got a few desks and some old computers that still work well enough. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to get around to that. Usually, the morning starts with someone trying to get the fan to stop clicking. It’s just us here, mostly focusing on the screens and handling whatever comes through the internet. We don’t really go out for lunch much, usually just bring something from home or grab a quick bite from the stall around the corner. It’s a quiet life compared to the city center, which is fine by us. Dahisar has a bit more breathing room, though it still feels like Mumbai when the trains are running. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks we have for the day.
