Warehouse Supervioser

I handle the supervision for the warehouse operations, mostly coordinating through my email at Latesh MYahoo. Com since I am often moving between different spots. It is not the kind of job where you sit in a nice office all day. Usually, I am standing on concrete floors, looking at how things are being stacked and making sure the loaders don't break anything. I have been doing this for a while and you get used to the dust and the noise of the crates moving around. My main thing is just making sure the numbers on the paper match the things on the pallets. If something is missing, it is my head on the block, so I stay pretty focused on the details. I don't really have a big staff or a fancy title that means much. I just make sure the work gets done so the trucks can leave on time. Dealing with drivers and warehouse workers takes a certain kind of talk. You have to be direct or things just get ignored. Sometimes I spend half my day just replying to messages and sending updates about stock levels. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is important for keeping the supplies moving. I don't really bother with marketing myself. People usually just find me through word of mouth or through my contact info when they need someone to watch over their inventory.
