The Carphone Warehouse

You can find us at A Wing, room 204, in Padmavati Nagar. It’s part of the Dum area, and it’s a fairly quiet place to work most of the time. We’ve set up shop in this building and it’s become our second home. The room isn't huge, but it's packed with all sorts of phones, chargers, and boxes. It’s definitely more of a workshop than a fancy retail store. We don't have those big glowing displays you see in the malls. Instead, we have workbenches and a lot of small tools for fixing things. People from around Padmavati Nagar usually drop in when they have a problem with their mobile or need a simple repair. We’ve been here for a while, so we know the neighbors and the way the building runs. Sometimes the lift is out of order, so we end up taking the stairs a lot, which keeps us moving. The office can get a bit cluttered with parts and paperwork, but we know where everything is. It’s a very basic, honest way to run a business. We don’t have a receptionist or a big team; it’s just us handling whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow and we just tidy up, and other days everyone seems to have a broken screen at the same time. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful. It’s a steady routine in a good neighborhood.
