We work out of the Evergreen Industrial Estate over in Mahalaxmi, near Jacob Circle. It is unit 56 on the second floor. If you have ever been to Shakti Mill Lane, you know it is a lot of old industrial buildings and small workshops. We have been involved with cookware for a long time. It is a noisy area, always some truck loading or unloading stuff downstairs. Our space is usually filled with samples and boxes. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of things before they go out. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but that is just how Mumbai weather is. The office is not very large, so we have to be careful where we stack the pans and pots. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we manage. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we all know how things work. We do not have fancy furniture or a big sign outside. Just the name on the door and a lot of work to do. We usually start early in the morning to beat the worst of the traffic on Dr. E Moses Road. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall or a dabba. We are not trying to be some big corporate entity; we just focus on the products we make. It is a busy life here in Mumbai 400011. There is always something to fix.
