Our office is S-02 in Amardeep Mahal, which is over in Vile Parle East. It’s a solid old building, and we’ve been in this particular unit for a good while. The space is filled with electrical components, control panels, and a lot of technical manuals that nobody ever puts back in the right place. It’s not a place meant for showing off. The desks are metal and have scratches from years of moving equipment around. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or testing switches to make sure they're doing what they should. It gets a bit noisy when the testing starts, but the neighbors are used to us by now. Vile Parle is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside. We have a small kitchen area where the sink leaks just a tiny bit if you turn the tap too far. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows everyone’s business. We don't really have a dress code; we just wear whatever is comfortable for moving boxes and working with tools. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be checked, and we usually just order some food from the place downstairs. It’s not a corporate lifestyle at all. We just come in, do the work with the switchgear, and head home when the job is finished. We have a lot of spare parts lying around, but we usually find what we need.
