Vijay Sales Corporation & Exports is tucked away at 20/22, Bapu Khote Cross Lane. We are in the Sidat Building, specifically on the 1st Floor. If you know the Pydhoni Corner area, you know how tight those lanes can get. It’s a maze of shops and small businesses. We’ve been here in building number 7 for a good while. The stairs up to the first floor are narrow. It’s always loud outside because of the market. There are carts and people pushing through the lane all day. Inside, we just try to focus on the export side of things. Sidat Building isn't a new place, it has that old Mumbai character. We have boxes stacked up sometimes because space is tight. It’s a very local way of working. We know the neighbors and the guy who delivers the mail. Pydhoni is a rough area for traffic, but it’s central for us. Vijay Sales Corporation & Exports fits right into the chaos of Bapu Khote Cross Lane. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just handle the orders as they come in. The fans hum all day long. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise from the street. It’s just a normal day for us. We stay busy and keep the paperwork moving. It’s honest work in a busy part of the city. We don't have many visitors, but we are always here at Sidat Building if things need sorting.
