Vertex Online Backup

We are located in Ghatkopar East, specifically at Vishal Pant Nagar, building 124/3490. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the layout of the blocks, but once you find us, it’s pretty simple. We handle online backup services, which basically means we spend our days making sure servers are running and data is going where it should. The room is full of the sound of cooling fans because the equipment gets quite warm. It isn't a place where we get a lot of walk-in visitors, so we don't worry too much about having everything looking perfect. There are cables everywhere and spare parts sitting on the shelves. Most of our communication happens over the phone or through messages. Pant Nagar is a lively area, so there is always some noise from the neighbors or kids playing nearby. We usually have a stack of empty cardboard boxes in the corner that we need to throw out. Lunch is often something quick from one of the local stalls nearby. It is a very hands-on kind of job, even though it’s all digital. When a server has a problem, one of us has to get in there and fix it physically. We just keep our heads down and make sure the systems stay online 24 hours a day, which is really the main thing we do here.
