We are tucked away in a housing society called Shital Co-op Hsg in Jogeshwari East. Our unit is A/302, which is on the third floor. This is Mumbai, so space is always a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work. Natwar Nagar Road No 5 is usually pretty busy with rickshaws and people heading to the station. Being in a residential building means it feels a bit more like home than a cold office. You can hear the sounds of the society—kids playing or someone’s TV—while we are working on our tasks. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, though they struggle a bit in the Mumbai heat. The lift in the building is one of those old ones with the grill doors, so sometimes it’s faster to just use the stairs if you aren't tired. Inside, we’ve got some filing cabinets and a couple of tables pushed together. It’s a bit messy with blueprints or papers sometimes, but we know where everything is. We usually get our tea from the guy at the corner of the road. It’s a very local way to run a business. We don't have a big corporate lobby, just a doorbell and a nameplate on the wooden door. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we’re quite used to the rhythm of the neighborhood.
