V. Kumar & Sons

We’ve been at Estee Appartment in Borivali West for quite a while now. The address is 13/C/3 in Saibaba Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area, mostly families around here. My father started things and now we all just pitch in. It’s a family thing, really. The office is small but it fits what we need. We don’t have any big corporate signs or anything like that. People in the neighborhood know where we are. Usually, the day starts with a lot of phone calls. We deal with whatever comes up. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s slow. We have these old metal cupboards for all our records. Everything is manual mostly, though we use the computer for the main bits. Saibaba Nagar has changed a lot since we moved in. More cars now and more shops. We just keep doing our work every day. It’s simple. We don’t have meetings about goals or anything. We just see what needs to be done and do it. If a client calls with a problem, we talk it through. It’s honest work. Most of our furniture has been here since we opened. It’s comfortable. We know the neighbors and the local shops. It feels like home even when we’re working. We share some snacks in the afternoon and talk about the news. It’s a decent way to spend the day in Borivali.
