We started here in Maratha Colony a few years back because the power was always going out in this part of town. Most of the guys here know their way around a battery and a circuit board quite well. We spend most of our days testing backups and making sure the backup power units actually turn on when they are supposed to. It gets a bit hot in the workshop sometimes, but that is just how it is with all this machinery. People come in from around the 2403 area when their lights flicker or if they need a new battery for their home system. It is not fancy work. We mostly have grease on our hands and stacks of heavy equipment against the walls. Some days it is quiet, and other days everyone’s power goes out at once and the phones don't stop ringing. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. We aren't a big fancy office with glass doors; it is more like a garage where we get things done. Most of the regulars just drop by without calling first. We know who is who. It is just a local business trying to keep the lights on for others. Sometimes we run out of tea, and someone has to run down the street to get some more while we finish up a repair. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the technical side of things. It works out fine.
