Our office is located in Maganlal Chambers, specifically room 502. We are right in the middle of the Iron Market, which is a very specific kind of place to work. From the window, you can see the trucks loaded down with metal rods and sheets, and there is always the sound of heavy things being moved around. It’s a busy part of town, and finding a parking spot is basically a miracle if you arrive after nine in the morning. Maganlal Chambers itself is an older building with a lot of character, which is a polite way of saying the walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the hallways are a bit dim. We’ve been here for a long time, and the office has slowly filled up with binders, old samples, and various pieces of equipment we’ve collected over the years. It’s not a modern workspace with open floors or bean bags. It’s just a place where we sit down, get on the phone, and handle our business. We know the other people in the building, and we usually grab a quick lunch from the stalls downstairs. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of old air conditioners that do their best. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks without making much of a fuss about it. We are just regular people doing a day's work.
