Thakur Engineering Works

Thakur Engineering Works is situated over in Kandivali West, specifically in the Lalji Pada area. Our workshop is on Link Road, right near Mukadam Pasi in Abhilakh Nagar. It's a part of the city that never really seems to sleep. There is always a truck passing by or someone shouting down the street. We have been here for a good while, doing all kinds of engineering and fabrication work. The shop itself is nothing special to look at from the outside, just another workspace filled with metal, welding equipment, and work benches. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, so there is usually a bit of heavy lifting involved in every job. Gandhi Nagar is a busy neighborhood and we fit right into the middle of it. Some days are long, starting before the sun is fully up and finishing well after dark if a job is urgent. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the people who walk in and show them what we can do. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. The air in the shop usually smells like burnt metal and cooling oil, which is something you get used to after the first week of working here. We just try to keep our heads down and get the tasks finished so the customers are satisfied and we can move on to the next pile of work.
