You’ll find Textile Carpet Export at No. 6 Bodke Building on Station Road in Mulund West. We are very close to the Hanuman Temple, which is a big landmark around here. Because we are so close to the station, the road is always packed with people rushing to catch trains. Our place is more of a warehouse and a workshop than a fancy store. We have huge rolls of carpets and rugs stacked everywhere. Sometimes it's hard to even find a place to sit down because of all the stock. We spend our days unrolling fabrics, checking for any mistakes in the weave, and then rolling them back up to get them ready for shipping. It’s physically tiring work, and we are usually pretty worn out by the afternoon. We don’t have a big team of sales people in suits. It’s just us in our regular clothes, moving heavy rolls and making sure the labels are correct. The noise from the station and the temple bells is just part of our daily background music. We don't do any flashy advertising. Most of our business comes from people who know where to find us in Bodke Building. We just keep our heads down and focus on the quality of the textiles. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy way to work, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years now. It’s just how we get by and get things done.
