Working over at Brick Bunder is a bit different from being in the middle of a shopping mall. This area has a more industrial feel to it, and our Tata Teleservices Ltd office reflects that. It is a sturdy place, built to last and handle the daily grind. We don't get a lot of random window shoppers here because of where we are situated. Most people who come to see us are there for a specific reason, usually related to their business accounts or technical setups. The air smells a bit like the sea and old stone sometimes. We have a lot of files and equipment stacked up because we handle quite a bit of backend work. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but it keeps the place cool during the summer months. We don't have a fancy reception desk with a bowl of mints. It is more about desks with multiple monitors and stacks of routers. The team here is small but we have worked together for ages. We know who likes their coffee black and who takes three sugars. It is a quiet existence compared to the city center. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails. Brick Bunder might seem out of the way for some, but for us, it is just the place where we get things done. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the requests.
