Taino Engineering Company

Taino Engineering Company is tucked away in the Universal Industrial Estate on I.B. Patel Road. We are at unit number 65. Goregaon East is always a bit of a scramble with the traffic and the narrow roads leading into these estates. Our place is typical for an engineering firm. There’s the smell of oil and metal, and there is always some machine running in the background. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a nice shirt because it would probably get ruined by the end of the day. We have been in this estate for quite some time now. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so there’s a lot of noise throughout the day. We have a small office area partitioned off from the main workspace, but most of the action happens on the floor. Our team is a mix of older guys who have been doing this forever and a few younger ones learning the ropes. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people who know us or other businesses in the area. We just focus on getting the engineering specs right and making sure the parts we make are solid. It’s a dusty, busy, and hardworking environment. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news or the latest cricket scores. It’s just how we do things here in Goregaon.
