Suresh Danis Classes

Suresh Danis Classes is tucked away on the third floor of Vivina Shopping Center. Most people know this place because it is right opposite Platform Number 6 of the Andheri station. The location is very busy, especially during peak hours when the trains come in. If you are coming from the bus depot, it’s just a short walk across. Being on the third floor in block B/3/8 means we are a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the announcements from the railway station sometimes. The shopping center itself has been around for a long time and has that specific old Mumbai commercial building feel. There are lots of other shops and small offices nearby, so there is always someone walking past in the corridor. Our space is basically just a few rooms with benches and whiteboards. We don’t have any big reception desks or fancy carpets. The flooring is the old-style tiles that stay cool even when it is hot outside. Sometimes the lift in the building takes a while, so many of us just end up taking the stairs. It is good exercise, I guess. The rooms are a bit cramped when everyone is there, but it works for what we do. We have some old fans that rattle a little, but they keep the air moving. It’s a very basic setup, nothing more and nothing less.
