Sumeru Labels Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 402/A-2 in the Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate, over in Lower Parel. We’ve been operating from this unit for quite some time. Being in an industrial estate means there’s always something going on in the hallways or downstairs. We focus on making labels of all sorts. It’s a very specific kind of work that involves a lot of attention to detail and making sure the printing machines are running properly. The space is filled with rolls of material and the smell of ink. Lower Parel is a busy part of the city, and the estate can get quite crowded with people and goods. We’ve had times when a machine jams right when we have a big order to finish, which is always frustrating. We just roll up our sleeves and get it fixed. Our team is small, but they know how to handle the equipment. We don't spend money on marketing or looking polished. Our priority is just getting the labels out the door. Sometimes the colors don't match on the first try, so we have to adjust things until they look right. It’s a lot of trial and error some days. We’ve been at it long enough to know what works and what doesn't. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to do an honest job every day. The estate life is loud and fast, but we fit right in.
