Our place is over at Adarsh Industrial Estate on Sahar Road. It’s pretty busy around here in Chakala, especially with the trucks coming in and out all day. We spend most of our time at Sukhras Machines dealing with the workshop floor. It’s not a quiet office; you can always hear the sound of metal and parts being moved around. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. People know us for the machines we put together. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure things run like they’re supposed to. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we keep the shop open. Inside, there’s usually some grease on the floor and a lot of tools lying on the benches. We don't have a fancy reception area with coffee machines. It’s just desks, some old filing cabinets, and the guys in the back working on the units. If you come by, you’ll see us mostly focused on whatever order is due next. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but our building stays pretty much the same. It’s an honest way to make a living. We just keep our heads down and finish the jobs. There’s always someone checking a blueprint or measuring a part. That’s how a typical day goes for us here in Mumbai. We don't do much talking, mostly just getting the machines out the door.
