Sukarta Clinic

Down in Pathidi Village, you’ll find Sukarta Clinic right opposite the Navali area. It’s a quiet spot compared to the city, but there’s always something going on in the village. The clinic is a small building, and we’ve tried to make it as comfortable as we can for the local folks. Being opposite Navali means we get people from both sides coming in. The road outside is mostly dirt and gravel, so it gets a bit dusty in the dry season. We keep a few chairs out front because people like to sit and talk while they wait. Inside, it’s pretty basic with a desk and some medical supplies kept in a cabinet. We don’t have any of those fancy computerized systems; we just write everything down in the ledgers. It’s a lot of work sometimes, especially when there’s a bug going around the village and everyone shows up at once. The light inside isn’t the best, so we keep the door open to let the sun in during the day. You can hear the goats or the occasional tractor passing by while we’re working. It’s a simple life out here in Pathidi, and the clinic is just a part of that. We know everyone’s name and their family history, which helps when they come in feeling under the weather. We just stay open and do what needs doing for the village people. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
