We've been up here on the second floor of the Ratandeep Building for quite a while now. Most people know the spot because it's right next to Shoppers Stop on S V Road. It is a very busy part of Andheri West, so there is always a lot of noise and something going on outside our windows. We handle security stuff for the most part. It started out small, just a couple of us trying to figure out how to help neighbors keep their places safe, and it grew from there. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. It has got some desks, way too many cables, and usually a half-empty box of tea biscuits sitting on the counter. We spend a lot of our time just talking to folks about what they actually need instead of trying to sell them things they don't. That doesn't help anyone in the long run. Sometimes the traffic on S V Road makes getting here a real headache, but we are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. We fix things, we install things, and we try to make sure the tech works like it is supposed to. If something breaks, we deal with it. It’s a straightforward job, really. No big speeches or fancy logos. Just a few local people in an office trying to keep things running for the community. We get a lot of people dropping in because they saw our sign.
