Skylab Instruments & Engg. Pvt. Ltd. operates out of 29-B in Grace Plaza. We are located on S.R. Road in Jogeshwari West, which is always a hive of activity. If you've ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how packed the streets get with people and rickshaws. Grace Plaza is a familiar landmark for the locals. Our space isn't huge, but we make use of every inch of it. There are shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with components and engineering tools. It can get a bit stuffy during the monsoon when the humidity is high, but we keep the fans going. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy lobby; it’s just the office and the workspace merged into one. You’ll often find us sitting around a table discussing a technical drawing or trying to fix a stubborn piece of equipment. The noise from S.R. Road never really stops, so we’ve learned to talk over it. Most of us have been here for years, so we know exactly where every screwdriver and multimeter is kept. We grab lunch from the nearby stalls or bring tiffins from home. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We don't spend money on shiny signs or leather chairs because that’s not what we are about. We just want to finish the engineering work and make sure everything is boxed up correctly before the day ends.
