Our office is in Sumer Kendra, right on Shankar Ghanekar Marg in the Prabhadevi area. It’s a decent building, though finding parking around here can be a real headache some days. We are on the first floor at unit 101. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and stacks of files. We deal with exports, so there is always some form to fill out or a shipping company to call. We’ve been working from this spot for a long time now. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first moved in, but we stayed put. Lunch breaks are usually spent at one of the small stalls nearby. Everyone here knows each other pretty well because we have been a small team for years. We aren't trying to do anything fancy. We just make sure the goods get to where they are supposed to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute difficult, but we still show up and get through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a lot of coordination with people at the ports and different suppliers. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. It’s practical work. We don't have a corporate handbook or a big HR department. It’s just us doing our jobs every day in Prabhadevi.
