Silver Arc Solutions is tucked away in the Marble Arch building on Central Avenue. If you know Santacruz West, you know how hectic the traffic can get right outside our door. We’re at number 41495, and it’s a decent enough spot, though the elevator in this building has a mind of its own sometimes. Our office isn't very large. There are computers everywhere and wires trailing across the floor in places where we haven't tucked them away yet. Most of us spend the day staring at screens or talking on the phone with people who are having trouble with their setups. India is a big place and we end up dealing with folks from all over, which keeps things interesting. Lunch usually comes from one of the stalls down the street, and we often eat at our desks while trying to figure out a stubborn bit of code. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always someone typing or a fan humming in the corner to keep the servers cool. We don’t wear suits or anything. It’s usually just jeans and shirts because that’s more comfortable for long hours. The windows look out onto the busy street, and sometimes it's nice to just watch the cars go by for a minute when the work gets a bit much. It’s just a group of us trying to keep everything running smoothly without making too much of a fuss about it.
