B. B. Export

B. B. Export is located at Shri Ji Bhavan, on the second floor in room 202. We are right on Mangal Das Road in the Lohar Chawl area. If you know that part of town, you know it is always packed with people and goods moving everywhere. It is one of those old-school market areas where everything is a bit cramped but very active. Our office is up a flight of stairs that are a bit steep and narrow. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of files that we’ve gathered over time. We have been here for a good while now. The window in the office doesn’t see much of the sky, just the building across the street. We spend our days mostly on the telephone or typing out shipping instructions to the transporters. It’s a lot of back and forth with different people to make sure the exports are on track. The noise from the market downstairs never really stops, so we have just learned to work through it. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us handling the daily grind. We have a small kettle for making tea, which we do quite often during the long afternoons. The furniture is old but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to make sure the paperwork is correct and the shipments go out on time. It’s a busy life here in Lohar Chawl, but we are used to it.
