Shree Samarth Pet Industries

Shree Samarth Pet Industries is based out of the Government Industrial Estate in Charkop. We are at AB-27 in the Kandivali West area. It’s a big industrial zone, so there are always sounds of heavy machinery and the smell of various manufacturing processes in the air. Our focus is on PET products, which means the machines are running pretty much all the time. It gets quite warm near the blow molding area, so we try to keep the doors open for some air. The floor is usually covered with plastic preforms or finished bottles waiting to be packed into bags. We don't have a reception area; you just walk in and find someone on the floor. Most of our day is spent watching the production lines and making sure the pellets are feeding into the hoppers correctly. Kandivali West has a lot of traffic, especially near the industrial estate entrance, so we have to plan our pickups carefully. If a machine breaks down, the whole day gets thrown off, and we all end up staying late to fix it. We aren't a huge corporation, just a local industrial unit doing our bit. Sometimes the plastic dust gets on everything, so we spend a fair amount of time cleaning up at the end of the shift. It’s hard work, but it’s what keeps the lights on for us and the families of the workers here who have been with us for years.
