Shree Sadguru Motors

We have been here in Jogeshwari West for quite a while now. Shree Sadguru Motors is located over at Lohar Chawl, specifically in Gala No 3. It’s a busy spot, always noisy with traffic and people walking by. If you come here, you’ll see our floor is usually covered in some oil or grease, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working on engines all day. My hands are rarely clean until I get home at night. We deal with all sorts of car problems, mostly just the stuff that breaks down when you’re driving around Mumbai too much. It gets pretty hot in the afternoon under the tin roof, so we drink a lot of chai from the stall nearby to keep going. Sometimes the parts don't arrive on time because of the traffic on the New Lin, and we have to tell people to wait an extra day. It’s not a fancy place with a waiting room or air conditioning. You just stand around or sit on a plastic stool while we figure out what’s wrong with your vehicle. Most people in the neighborhood know us by now. We just try to get the cars back on the road so people can go to work. It’s a simple life, honestly. We open up early, sweep the front, and start looking at whatever was dropped off the night before. Sometimes we’re still here late fixing a stubborn bolt that won't move.
