Navdeep Automobiles

Down here in Mumbai 400004, Navdeep Automobiles is right in the thick of it. If you know this part of Maharashtra, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes of parts. Sometimes it feels like we have everything a car might need, but finding it in the back can take a few minutes. We deal with a lot of mechanics and car owners who are usually in a hurry because their vehicle is stuck somewhere. The humidity in Mumbai is no joke, and we usually have a fan going that just moves the warm air around. We spend most of the day on the phone or talking to people over the counter. It’s a lot of questions about what we have in stock and how much it costs. We aren't some sleek showroom. We’re a practical shop for people who need to get back on the road. The street outside is always blocked with delivery bikes and people walking by. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. We drink a lot of cutting chai throughout the day to keep the energy up. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve learned how to manage the chaos. We just try to get the right part into the customer's hand so they can go about their business. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit dusty and cramped inside.
