We are up on the first floor of the Engineering Premises building on M.S. Marg. If you know Fort, you know how these old buildings are. Shailesh Engineering Company has been in this spot for a while now. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Just a lot of desks, some old files, and the sound of the street coming through the windows. People come in and out all day. We deal with whatever work comes across the desk. Sometimes the lift is acting up, so we just take the stairs to the first floor. It keeps us moving. The address is 93 M.S. Marg, right in the heart of the business area. We don’t do big advertisements. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them where the shop is. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and get the jobs done. It’s a busy corner of town. There is always tea being brought in from the stall downstairs in small glasses. We focus on the engineering side of things, keeping the machines or the plans in order. It's just how things have always been run here. We don’t change much because the old way works fine for us. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the entrance of the building. We’re usually here until late evening finishing up whatever is left. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we're too busy with the work to worry about that right now.
