You’ll find Shah H Liladhar Motorwala at 34 Bhandari Street. We’ve been here for quite some time, dealing with motor parts and everything related to vehicles. The shop is pretty packed with boxes and shelves full of various components. It’s not the most organized place, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. People come to us when they need a specific part or just some advice on what’s wrong with their engine. We spend a lot of time with grease on our hands, poking around under hoods or looking through old catalogs to find a match for a part that isn't made anymore. Bhandari Street is a narrow one, so it gets pretty tight when people try to park out front. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same. We aren't interested in being a big chain store. We like being a local spot where people can just walk in and talk to us. Sometimes we don’t have what someone needs, and we just tell them who else might have it. It’s a simple way of doing business. The fan in the back doesn't work so well, so it gets hot in the summer, but we don't mind much. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who needs help with their car. It’s enough to keep us going.
