Jhalak Kids Wear

Our shop is Jhalak Kids Wear and you can find us at Shop Number 5 in Kedarnath Mishra Chawl. It’s right on P. M. Road, quite close to the Shivsena office in Khotwadi. If you know Santacruz West, you know it gets pretty crowded around here. We have been running this little place for some time now, focusing on clothes for children. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of new stock coming in. We try to keep a variety of sizes and colors on the racks. Most days it’s just us handling everything from opening the shutters to cleaning the floor. We see a lot of parents coming in looking for something simple for their kids to wear to school or just around the house. It is a noisy area with all the traffic outside, but we like being part of the neighborhood. Sometimes we are just sitting here waiting for the afternoon rush. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just a regular local business where we know most of the faces that walk in. The building is an old chawl, so it has that classic Mumbai feel to it. We just keep doing our thing day after day, making sure there are enough shirts and pants for the local families.
