We are based in Diamond Square, right on CST Road in the Kalina area. You can find Allcargo Logistics Ltd. up on the 5th floor. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We deal with moving things from one place to another, whether it's by sea, air, or road. It’s a lot of logistics work, which basically means we spend our time on the phone and the computer trying to track where everything is. The office is usually full of the sound of people talking to drivers and shipping agents. We have stacks of shipping manifests and maps lying around. It isn't the cleanest or most organized-looking place, but we know exactly where everything is. Most of us have been in the shipping business for years, so we’ve seen just about every kind of delay or problem you can imagine. We just try to fix things as they come up and keep the cargo moving. It’s a practical job for people who don’t mind a bit of stress now and then. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We’re just a bunch of folks in Mumbai who understand how to get a box from point A to point B without too much fuss. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Mumbai heat, but we get by. It’s just how it is working in this part of the city.
