Our office is situated on the 5th floor of Neelyog Square, which is right next to the Ghatkopar station. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside throughout the day. Inside, things are a bit more quiet. We are a consulting firm, so our day mostly consists of sitting at desks and going through a lot of data and reports. It’s a standard office setup with computers, some filing cabinets, and a small table for meetings. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up here and there. The commute is probably the best part of being in this spot, since the train is just a few steps away for most of us. We have a small team of people who have been working together for a while now. There’s a kitchen area where we keep our lunch boxes and make some coffee when the afternoon slump hits. Sometimes the elevators in this building take forever to arrive, so we end up waiting around in the lobby quite a bit. It’s just a practical place to work. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital files every day. It’s not the most exciting environment, but we get our tasks done. We’ve been in this building for several years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It's just where we come to do our jobs.
