Alfa Exports Mumbai

If you look behind the Vakola Masjid in Santacruz East, you’ll find us in apartment 401 of the H M Building. It’s a bit hidden away, which we don't mind. Alfa Exports Mumbai is run by a few of us who have been in the business for years. The masjid is a good landmark, and we often hear the calls to prayer while we're working on our export documents. Our office is basically a converted flat, so it has a kitchen where we make way too much coffee. We have tables pushed against the walls to make room for all the crates and packages. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a big order going out. We don’t really do big meetings; we just shout across the room if we need to ask something. It’s an honest way to work, without any pretension. We know our neighbors and the guys who run the local shops downstairs. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we often end up taking the stairs. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We're just people working hard in Santacruz to make sure our exports reach their destination on time. It takes a lot of coordination and some long hours, but we just get on with it every day. That’s just the way it goes here.
