We don't use a lot of marketing talk because our work is mostly technical and doesn't need much explaining. It’s about checking the numbers and making sure the plans make sense. We have a lot of old files and drawings lying around because we’ve been at this for a bit. The office smells a little like paper and old coffee. We don't have a dedicated PR person or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just write down what we’re doing and send it over. It’s a straightforward way to run a consultancy. We take lunch when we can, often just bringing something from home. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know.
