Samrat Classes

You can find Samrat Classes over at Karia House on Jss Road. We are tucked away in Chira Bazar-Kalbadevi, which is a really active part of Mumbai. If you know the area, we’re right near St Sebastian School and just behind S K Patil Garden. It’s a bit of a maze around here sometimes with all the traffic and people, but once you get inside Karia House, things settle down a bit. We’ve been running these classes for a while, and the rooms are basically what you’d expect for a local tuition center. We have benches that have seen better days and a lot of chalk dust. It’s not a corporate office; it’s just a place where students come to get through their syllabus. We spend a lot of time going over notes and making sure everyone understands the basics. The garden nearby is nice for a quick breath of air, though we’re usually too busy with the books to spend much time there. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it’s how we’ve always operated. People in Chira Bazar know the building well. It’s a bit of a climb if you’re tired, but the kids don’t seem to mind. We just keep the lights on and the books open, helping whoever walks through the door to get their work done before they head home in the evening. It is nothing too special, just a regular part of the neighborhood.
