Samarth Classes

We've been here at Bhagirathi Bhuwan for quite a while now. Most people around here know us because we're tucked right into the Ganesh Gully area of Lalbaug. It gets incredibly busy in this part of Mumbai, especially during the big festivals, but inside the classroom, things stay mostly quiet. We started Samarth Classes just to help the kids from the local neighborhood with their daily schoolwork and exams. It isn't a big fancy setup with glass walls or expensive air conditioning. It's just room B-101, a simple, honest place where students come after their school hours to sit down at the wooden benches and get their doubts cleared. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of noise on hot afternoons, and we often have to remind the students to keep their bags tidy and park their cycles properly outside the building. We spend the majority of our time checking notebooks, writing on the chalk board, and explaining the same algebra or grammar problems until every single kid in the room gets it. It’s regular, hard work, really. Parents from all over the 400012 area stop by in the evenings to chat about how their children are doing, and we just tell them the truth about what needs more practice or more time. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who know the subjects well enough to help. It feels really good when a student finally understands something they were struggling with for weeks. That's why we keep the doors open here in Lal Baug. It’s just our daily routine.
