Our office is in the Commodity Exchange Building, right in Sector 19 of Vashi. We are in rooms 722 and 723. It’s a massive building and it can be a bit confusing to find us if it’s your first time here. Vashi is always moving fast, and being in the commodity exchange means there’s a lot of energy around. We spend most of our mornings on the phone or checking the latest news that might affect our exports. It’s not a quiet job. The space we have is functional, with enough room for our computers and a couple of chairs for visitors. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. Sometimes the canteen downstairs is the best part of the day. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people working hard in the export business. Our desks might look a bit messy with all the documents and receipts, but we know where everything is. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because Vashi gets really hot. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly coordinating with people in other countries. It’s interesting work even if it’s stressful sometimes. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. We’ve made some good friends in the neighboring offices over the years. It feels like a real community here in the building.
