Sakarwala Classes

Sakarwala Classes is based in Oxford Chambers on Mirza Galib Road, which many people still call Clare Road. We are right opposite St Agnes High School, so it’s a very familiar landmark for anyone living in Byculla. Our space is on the 55th unit, and it’s a pretty standard setup for a coaching center. We have a few rooms where we hold our sessions throughout the day. The street outside can get quite loud with all the buses and cars, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We mostly help students with their regular school subjects, and it’s a very local operation. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us doing the teaching and keeping the place running. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow, so a lot of us just end up taking the stairs. It’s a humble place, but we take the work seriously. The students come in, do their work, and head back out into the Byculla rush. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It’s a real community feeling, and we see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done for the families around here who need that extra bit of help with their children’s education. We just focus on the books and hope for the best results.
