We operate out of room 202 A in the Dhanraj Industrial Estate. If you know Sunmil Road in Lower Parel West, you know it gets quite crowded around here during the day. We’ve been handling fire equipment for a good amount of time now. It’s mostly about making sure the extinguishers are full and the alarms actually make a sound when they are supposed to. Our space isn't huge, but it fits all the tools we need for the job. Most mornings start with us checking the schedule and loading up the gear. We work with a lot of the nearby businesses in the area. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We spend time cleaning valves, checking pressures, and making sure the hoses aren't cracked. Sometimes it’s dusty, and the industrial estate can get loud with all the other workshops nearby. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know how these systems work. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures. We just show up, do the job, and go to the next site. Lower Parel has changed a lot with all the new buildings, but this industrial estate stays pretty much the same. We like it that way because it's central for our clients. We stay busy enough just keeping up with the maintenance calls. Sometimes the humidity makes the shop feel a bit heavy, but we just keep the fans going and finish the work. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our toes every single day.
