Our office is in Jamana Sadan, which is Block No 7 on M. G. Road in Mulund. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed M. G. Road can get, especially during the festive seasons. We are right in the thick of it. The building is one of those classic Mumbai structures where the hallways are narrow and the mailboxes are all clustered by the front door. We are up on one of the floors, and you can always hear the hum of the city through the glass. We have a couple of rooms where we handle our medical care work. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of paper folders. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, it's just one of us who happens to be near the door when someone knocks. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning fix, and we usually bring it up in little plastic cups. It’s a bit cramped, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice when it comes through the side window. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten to know the other people in Jamana Sadan. It’s just a regular Mumbai workplace where we do our best to stay on top of the schedule and keep things moving.
