Saad Tutorials is located at Syed Villa on 12 Reynolds Road. This is right in Mumbai Central, a place that never really sleeps. We are situated next to the International YMCA, which is how most people find their way to us. Syed Villa is an older building with a lot of character. Our space inside is simple and functional. We have benches and desks lined up for the students. It’s not a big institution with hundreds of employees, just a few of us making sure the teaching gets done. The rooms are a bit small, but we keep them clean. Being in Mumbai Central, we are close to the station, so some students travel from further away to get here. The sounds of the city are always there in the background, from the trains to the honking cars. We’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is where we take our breaks. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't use any fancy technology, just the basics like boards and notebooks. We take things one day at a time, helping students with whatever they are struggling with in their classes. It’s a quiet life of teaching. We are usually here till the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing.
