S U Engineers

We are located on the ground floor of the Daruwala Compound in Malad West. It’s right opposite Marve Road, so it’s easy to find once you get into the industrial area. S U Engineers is a typical workshop setup. We have the big machines on the ground floor because they are too heavy to go anywhere else. The floor is stained with oil and there is metal dust in the air, which is normal for a place like ours. We work on various engineering repairs and custom parts. The noise from Marve Road is pretty constant, but inside the compound, it’s mostly the sound of grinders and drills. We have a small crew of workers who have been with me for a few years. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. We just wear clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There is a small sink in the back where we wash up before going home. It’s a practical space designed for getting work done, not for looking pretty. We have a lot of regular customers who drop off items in the morning and pick them up a few days later. Dealing with the heat in Malad during May is the hardest part of the job. We keep a fridge with cold water and that helps. It’s just a straightforward engineering shop doing what we know how to do.
