S S Tutorials

Our place, S S Tutorials, is over in Vile Parle East. We are at number 23 on the 2nd Cross road. It’s a typical Mumbai street, a bit narrow and always something going on. We have been running these classes from this small building for quite some time. It’s not a big institution. We just have a couple of rooms where we sit with the students. There are stacks of notebooks everywhere and the smell of chalk dust is always in the air. We don't use any fancy software or big screens. It’s just us, the teachers, and the students working through their syllabus. The fans hum all day to keep the heat away. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the exam season. We know the parents and they know us by name. It’s a very local feel. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign outside. Just a simple board so people can find the entrance. Most of our students live nearby and walk to the center. We focus on the basics and try to help them get through their tests without too much stress. It’s a lot of hard work for everyone involved. We stay late most nights making sure everyone has their doubts cleared. It’s just a regular part of life in Vile Parle. We aren't trying to be anything more than a local tutoring spot. It's practical and it works for the families here.
