We deal with various chemicals, some meant for preserving materials and others for defacing or stripping them down. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. The office is usually filled with the sound of the printer and the hum of the air conditioner. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, but we manage. There are just a few of us here, so everyone knows their role. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist.
